Torque tightening

Bolted joints are by far the most important detachable connections in industry. As machines and plants become ever larger, they require ever larger fasteners, and existing fasteners must be preloaded to higher levels and with greater precision. The vast majority of all bolted joints are now tightened by turning. By far the most commonly used method is torque-controlled tightening.
We would be happy to calculate the required minimum preload for a bolted joint or the tightening torque for you.
Our machinery range extends from hydraulic cassette tools and square-drive torque wrenches to battery-powered or electrically driven torque tools. We are capable of applying torques of up to 35,000 Nm.
